Daily Itinerary
We cross the Pyrenees with the help of our guides at all times, discovering the most hikes in the Aragonese-Catalan mountains and its National Parks.
Day 1: Pick-up in the city and trasfer to Hotel Barosse
Pick-up in the city and transfer to the Pyrenees. Pick-up from Barcelona, Zaragoza, or San Sebastián, followed by a shuttle to the Barosse Hotel, our first selected hotel in the mountains.
Enjoy a welcome reception on the terrace of this charming hotel and an informative meeting about the program. We will also check the necessary equipment.
Day 2: Aguas Tuertas Valley
After a delicious breakfast at Casa Barosse, we will set out for our first destination – to explore the beautiful western valleys of the Selva de Oza and the breathtaking Aguas Tuertas Valley, a true sensory delight. This gentle activity will take us to some of the most hidden and beautiful areas in the Pyrenees.
We will also visit Hecho, a truly picturesque village nestled in our mountains.
Day 3: Valles Occidentales Natural Park
The ascent of Pic de los Moines – a beautiful and varied excursion to one of the most stunning viewpoints in the Pyrenees, with approximately 6 hours of activity in a unique environment and a 700-meter elevation gain.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Canfranc Train Station and the Citadel of Jaca. The Citadel, one of Spain’s best-preserved fortresses, is a part of the country’s historical heritage.
Day 4: Mallos de Riglos Natural Monument
After breakfast, we will head to Los Mallos de Riglos, a place renowned for its striking rock formations. We’ll conclude the day with a beautiful, gentle excursion through towering rock spires, home to numerous raptors.
In the afternoon, we will visit the San Juan de la Peña Monastery, a Romanesque jewel of the Pyrenees.
Day 5: Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park
After breakfast and check-out (we change hotels today), we’ll make our way to Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. Majestic mountains, endless forests, and stunning valleys await to make this day unforgettable. We will follow a well-known path used by hunters to reach the Faja Racon/Canarellos, one of the finest hikes in the Pyrenees.
In the afternoon, we’ll arrive at our new accommodation, Casa Muria Hotel, where Sole will welcome us with open arms to this exclusive rural hotel, a little gem in the Aragonese Pyrenees.
Day 6: Posets-Maladeta Natural Park
Forau de Aigualluts – After a delicious breakfast at Casa Muria, we will head towards the Forau de Aigualluts, one of the most spectacular spots in Spain. During the hike, we will visit Ibon del Coll de Toro and the famous mountain refuge “La Renclusa,” where climbers stay before attempting to summit Mount Aneto (3,404 meters), the highest peak in the Pyrenees, which boasts a small glacier that refuses to disappear.
Day 7: Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park
After a hearty breakfast, we will head to Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, a vast protected area in Catalonia. We will cross its lakes and forests until we reach the stunning Estany Redó. The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking!
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the San Clemente de Tahull Chapel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcasing Romanesque art at its finest.
Day 8: Aínsa – Sierra de Guara Natural Park – Alquézar
After a delicious breakfast at Casa Muria, we will set off for Aínsa, possibly the most picturesque village in the Pyrenees. Our route today takes us along the Vero River Canyon, renowned for its spectacular footbridges and bridges. This dramatic landscape, sculpted by the flow of water, will dazzle you with vibrant colors as sunlight illuminates your path.
We’ll conclude the day at the beautiful Collegiate Church of Alquézar, a true visual treat.
Day 9: The Depopulated Areas of the Pyrenees – Muria Valley
Our final day of this amazing journey! Today, we will explore the oldest villages in the Muria Valley, where mountain life is at risk of disappearing due to depopulation. This journey through the history of our ancestors will offer a poignant glimpse into the past and the culture, heritage, and traditions that once thrived here, providing the perfect conclusion to this unforgettable trip.
Day 10: Return shuttle to the City.
Breakfast and pick-up.
Return shuttle to Barcelona, Zaragoza or San Sebastian 13:30h is the approximate time of arrival.

Hotel Casa Muria
El Acebo de Casa Muria is a beautiful 18th-century house located in the picturesque village of Renanué, at an altitude of 1,230 meters and close to the Pyrenean Axis (N260), where you can enjoy 360º of breathtaking views.
Like a wonderful lookout, to the north, you will see the immensity of the Benasque Valley and fascinating mountains like El Posets and El Gallinero, and to the south, you will enjoy a sensational view of a wonderful high mountain forest.
