El Acebo de Casa Muria is made up of 4 houses that are huddled together on a green mountain slope in the shadow of a giant centenary holly tree and a lush forest beyond that.

Within the home, José Luis and Jennifer pay homage to the world’s most iconic mountains and their respective cultures: the Toubkal Room, which is Moroccan inspired; the Posets Room with Pyrenean décor, and; the Fuji Room with a Japanese zen-inspired atmosphere. The rooms are all very pleasant, contemporary-ethnic décor done with meticulous detail and beautiful taste.

An artist from Huesca named Vicente Garcia left his mark on the world of art with his modern sculptures. His sculptures can be found in El Acebo de Casa Muria in the external spaces of the hotel and in the reception area. They serve to reinforce the atmosphere of pleasant harmony between the building’s architectural elements both old and new. The living room on the ground floor was originally a space used for animal husbandry, but today it is decorated in earthy tones, fluffy armchairs, and a fireplace.

Since its opening, El Acebo de Casa Muria has not ceased to evolve in order to create the best experience for all of its patrons, both new and returning. In fact, it began as an adult-only hotel when it first opened its doors in order to ensure the tranquillity of its guests.

Then in 2013, the El Torreón Suite opened. It is a space of 80 square metres distributed across three floors with its own private entrance and a spa bath with hydro-massage shower and jacuzzi for two people. It also boasts a lovely sitting area with a fireplace and a huge 2×2 metre bed in the bedroom.

In 2015, José Luis’ dream came true when he opened his own Ducati museum right next to the hotel. He now showcases his impressive private collection of motorcycles there.
