The humans behind

Alberto Andrés
Pyrenees Travels Manager
The person behind the trips, the design, the communication… the one who handles little bit of everything, deeply in love with every corner of the valleys he explores and the air he breathes daily in the mountains. For over 20 years, He has been designing experiences, activities, and itineraries in the Pyrenees, walking a fine line like a tightrope walker between the local development of our communities and their sustainability. The rest of the team calls him «the Boss,» although, to be honest, he isn´t very fond of the title…
David
Mountain and nature guide
To experience and feel the Pyrenees through the programs of Pyrenees Travels is one of the greatest joys I treasure in my profession as a mountain and nature guide.
I love the feeling of being able to offer those who visit us a unique and authentic experience: life in these mountains, with its nods to the past, its connection to the present, and the dream of preserving all we have for the future. Bringing the Pyrenees closer to people like you makes me feel alive, allowing me to grow as a local guide, knowledgeable about the environment, its cultures, and the invaluable feedback we receive daily from our visitors.
Without a doubt, savoring these journeys as a local guide is one of my greatest motivations.

Alberto M.
Mountain and nature guide
Working as a mountain guide allows me to forge a deep and intimate connection with nature. Every day, I appreciate the subtle changes that occur in the environment, and, like a curious child, I revel in this «toy» for longer than most. I am deeply in love with the Pyrenees, mountains where the wild essence still thrives, and where the human footprint, which once transformed these landscapes for survival, remains visible and fascinating.
I enjoy sharing my experiences with travelers from Pyrenees Travels because they give me the opportunity to feel like an ambassador for my homeland. My goal is to awaken in them the same sense of wonder that fills me every day in the mountains. I firmly believe that we only protect what we value. That’s why every excursion aims to make visitors fall in love with this territory, so their time in the mountains leaves a mark—not on the landscape, but on their commitment to protecting nature.
